New Yorker Cartoon Yearbook 2009

From September 2008 to September 2009, readers of The New Yorker chuckled
at, shared with friends, and quoted to coworkers the nearly one thousand
cartoons that were published in its pages. The New Yorker Cartoon Yearbook
2009 celebrates the greatest achievements of the 2009 "class," with our
favorite cartoons from time-honored talents such as Bruce Eric Kaplan, P.C.
Vey, Robert Mankoff, George Booth, Barbara Smaller, and more. Like any
yearbook, it also documents the highlights of the year -- the political foibles
and cultural anomalies that made this year memorable -- and in the honest,
unvarnished way that only cartoonists can.
